ABS Lamp - In some situations, the ABS lamp will be on while cranking the engine, and remain on after the engine has started. The light may not go off until the next time the car is started. A possible cause for this can be the software in the brake control module. During cranking, the brake control module sees that the vehicle system voltage is low and sets a fault, illuminating the ABS lamp on the dash. Revised software was introduced so the low voltage error will not be set while cranking.
