VR Manual Conversions

 The manual ECM (Engine Computer) and engine harness used in V6 and V8 manuals are like no other. The Computer is different to previous models, different to later models and is different to the automatic. The engine harness is specific as well, as it is different to previous models, different to later models and is different to the automatic.

These items can be hard to find, as the engine harness and ECM have been obsolete as a genuine part for many years now. There are some remanufactured ones available from time to time.

If you are going to buy a manual conversion kit for a VR, make sure it suits a VR and it comes complete with the hanress and ECM.
