This was meant to be my work ute! I got a little carried away with the detailing and now it sits around doing very little! It was purchased January 2000 as a damaged vehicle, and was a council owned vehicle with 35,000k's on the clock. The damage to the shell made it unsuitable to repair, so a replacement shell was found. The only panels used from the donor car were the tailgate and left door, the rest were purchased new from Holdens.
The finished product. The ute has been entered in a couple of shows, and has won "State Champion Holden Ute 1991- 2000" at the 2004 Holden and Ford Show, as well as "State Champion Holden ute runner up" and a "Top 10". So much for my work ute! Since it's been finished its only done an extra 3,000k's, so the K's are staying very low. At this present moment (April 2005), the seats, door trims and steering wheel have been removed. Claude and Adam at Claudes Trim Shop are in the process of making HSV front seats for me.
