VZ Commodore Electrical Issues
Phoenix Mechanical

Incorrect Fuel Guage Reading - If the fuel level float arm was bent during factory installation, the fuel guage may read higher than the actual amount of fuel in the tank. To overcome this issue, the fuel lever float arm will need to be re-bent to it's original shape.

Starting Problem (GEN III) - The starter motor may intermittently behave as if the vehicle has a flat battery, even though the battery is in good operating condition. A possible cause of this can be the Powertrain Interface Module (PIM), located next to the steering column. Components in the PIM may be poorly grounded and be sensitive to static. A revised PIM with improved components was released to overcome this issue.
